I might be wrong but I try to set my OAL the same with my 9mm round nose with all grains at 1.135. Min OAL is to minimize potential over pressure due to reduced case volume. For example, at a max OAL of 1.15, John's seating depth with Bullet X is .180, but John wants all his seating depths to be at least .200, so he loads Bullet X at 1.130 so as to get his minimum desired seating depth.
